This is the same hike I took about a month ago, however this time, I hiked the real trail, starting at the real trailhead. The weather was also much better this time, as it was clear. The beginning of the hike is probably the best, since it goes through some older trees, and passes by a small “seasonal lake”.

The trail then joins the viewpoint trail, which used to be called the Mt Mitchell Trail (705). The views from Mt Mitchell are absolutely incredible.

It has some of the most beautiful views of any of the peaks I’ve been on in the Clackamas area. This is definitely a hike I’ll want to do again!
