Rho Creek
Sign on 54 road across the bridge - looks like they are cutting out the road finally!
Memorials that were along the 4671 road are now at the base of the trailhead sign for Rho Creek - sill kind of weird
First sneak peek at Rho Creek - it was running pretty high and fast (and loud) today
Rho Creek Trail
Old Blaze in Old Growth on the Rho Creek trail
A moss covered blaze and a downed log that was recently cut on the Rho Creek trail
A better look at Rho Creek - it splits in this area so there are two "threads" of the creek here
Rho Creek from Rho Creek Trail
Tumble Creek crossing on the Rho Creek trail - I crossedon the log - Thor went in the creek and he almost had to swim in a couple of spots!
An old cut log from 31 years ago!
Rho Creek trail approaching cut area
First snow we saw - it was below the trail near Rho Creek
First bit of snow on the trail - Rho Creek trail
Thor playing in a bigger snow drift on the Rho Creek trail
Upper Rho Creek crossing near Fadeaway springs - Rho Creek trail
Rho Creek trail approaching Fadeaway springs
Fadeaway springs on Rho Creek trail - it was full
View from cut area below 4672 road - Rho Creek trail
Looking back down the Rho Creek trail - just below 4672 road crossing
4672 road at crossing point of Rho Creek trail
This wsa how much snow was on the trail past the junction with the old Hunter Creek trail - there was no snow before the junction and then 2-3' of snow after. This was our turnaround point.
It is hard to read, but I'm pretty sure these rocks say "Rho Creek Trail" - there are rocks to the right with arrows on them
These rocks with the arrows are just east of the "Rho Creek Trail" rocks
It is hard to see the arrow rocks but they are kind of mid picture - this is the old junction with the Hunter Creek trail
There was one more rock with an arrow painted on it a bit past the others - Rho Creek trail
This is the south end of the decommisioned part of the 4650 road - the north end is just after you cross the bridge over the Clackamas river.
