I'm not exactly sure what this is called - Cripple Creek Lake? It is fed by Cripple Creek - The ducks seemed to like it - there were probably at least 20 ducks swminning around on the lake
Another one of the MANY downed trees over the trail
This looked like a bear print - pretty fresh too
This looked to be a deer den/sleeping place - there was deer hair everywhere and it was relatively protected. It was along the "trail X" that goes north from near the end of the trail from Cripple Creek Lake - the trails in that area are REALLY confusing

Another burned log over the trail - On the Cripple Creek trail below 4653
It seems like it was mostly a ground fire in this area - most of the trees seem to be OK - on the Cripple Creek trail below 4653
A segment of intact tread that was burned on both sides - on the Cripple Creek trail below the 4635 road
The tread in this area was heavily damaged - on the Cripple Creek trail below the 4635 road
What my truck looked like when we got back to it - about 6 hours later - maybe a half inch of new snow.
