Oregon City/South Fork Water Pipeline
Some sort of "air burper" on the pipeline?
Kirk and Zack clearing some downed bruish from the pipeline trail
Tunnel #1
The tunnels were just big enough to walk through - later we had to duck to make it through them - they were not very big
We saw these all over the first 3 tunnels - swarms of daddy long legs spiders and crickets. It was really weird.
Tunnel #2
The little slough/channel behind the island in the river
Kirk found an insulator in one of the tunnels
This looked like petrified wood in one of the tunnels
This pipe had seen better days
The last tunnel we had to walk on the pipe - the water on either side got to be about a foot deep
Hard to see how deep the water is, but it is close to a foot deep here
Pipe where it exits the last tunnel. They had cables securing it before it headed down the hill
The pipe goes down the hill to the water at this point
Looking across the river from the last tunnel exit
The exit from tunnel #3 - it had kind of caved in a bit due to a landslide
Tunnel #4 had a curve in it.
Zack in tunnel #4
The tunnel walls had this strange covering - I think these are calcite deposits
The pipe sprung a leak!
Relatively flat, open spot on the pipeline trail
An old cut log and you can see the coax cables in the air on this section
Interesting cliffs above the Clackamas river along the pipeline trail
The river bend where we started - the location of the old Oregon City Water Keeper house
A Huge tree that came down on the pipeline
