This is where the day started - Northbound on the PCT from FS Road 42 Oak Grove Fork of the Clackamas river - WOW it is small here! Trail was in GREAT condition First glimpse of Timothy Lake from the PCT That is a BIG tree in the background! My hiking stick gives a little bit of scale - there were quite a few large trees in here Very old PCT trail marker And a new(er) marker on the other side of the trail Oak Grove fork of the Clackamas - it is getting bigger! Interesting rockslide Clackamas Lake (looks more like a bog to me!) This is the Oak Grove fork of the Clackamas River (if it were running) Oak Grove fork running into Clackamas Lake Small meadow on the PCT south of Joe Graham Horse Camp - East of Clackamas Lake There it is! Clackamas Lake! There IS a lake there! Better view of Clackamas Lake from the PCT One of 3 trail signs at this junction Another sign - the pink flags were for the Ironman race Sign number 3 - 3 trails converged at this spot! This trail doesn't appear to show on the topo maps Sign says it all Other side of the sign - this was the turnaround point
