View from the viewpoint Trail is well blazed, but faint in places Eagle Creek at the crossing point It was an easy crosing at this time of year Looking back after crossing An interesting "narrows" section of Eagle Creek - it is rather deep in there At this point, the Eagle Creek trail is right next to the creek The creek was in the sun most of the time This didn't come out as well as I had hoped - those yellows and reds really popped in person! It was very dramatic Evidence of an OLD fire in the area. Even with all the dry weather, this area is still moist and VERY green An old trail sign at the creek crossing Believe it or not, there is trail down there - you can see the blaze on the tree, but the tread is mostly obscured by debris.
