Description of Hike:
This was a surprise hike. I was planning on going to Whetstone Mountain, but couldn’t make it that high this early in the year. I normally wouldn’t hike to Bagby, since it is a pretty crowded trail, but it was what I could get to due to the snow.
The trail is actually very well maintained, and very scenic. Interesting little “village” at the hot springs.
Don’t come if you don’t have an open mind, though. I saw some very “interesting” sights.

Pegleg Falls is very close to the trailhead, and is an interesting side trip. At some point in the past, there was some sort of structure on the river before the falls, but I don’t know what it was. There is also a picnic area here in the summer.
